For certain optional services, Mega Metropol requires that you supply a unique subscriber ID, e-mail address, and demographic information, such as title and school district.
Registration/Subscriptions:
For customer convenience, Mega Metropol also makes it possible to subscribe via credit card to the Mega Metropol family of publications and register for various conferences sponsored by Mega Metropol.
Surveys:
On occasion, Mega Metropol also collects additional personal information in connection with optional contests, surveys, or special offers.
IP Addresses:
IP Addresses: Mega Metropol also logs IP addresses, or the location of your computer on the internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes.
What does Mega Metropol do with the information it gathers/tracks? Statistical Analysis and Banner Advertising:
Mega Metropol may perform statistical analyses of user behavior in order to measure interest in the various areas of our site (for product development purposes) and to inform advertisers as to how many consumers have seen or "clicked" their advertising banners. In these statistical analyses, we will disclose information to third parties only in aggregate form.

Using the eMail addresses provided at registration, Mega Metropol periodically sends promotional e-mail to its subscribers about services offered by Mega Metropol and its advertisers. With whom does Mega Metropol share the information it gathers/tracks?
Mega Metropol uses the information it gathers to promote special pricing and discount offers for our newspaper, newsletters, directories, and conferences. The information gathered, in aggregate form, may also be shared with advertisers and other partners. Mega Metropol will provide you all of your personal information provided at registration upon request. During the registration process, new users who select to register for ALERT become ALERT members. If you select this option, ALERT will use the information collected on the registration form to provide targeted e-mail to you on behalf of advertisers. ALERT subscribers may opt-out of this service at any time.

Mega Metropol offers optional Forums. Any information you disclose when posting a message in these Forums becomes public. Moreover, subscribers who post a message in our Forums make their e-mail address available to others through a feature of our Forums software, which could result in unsolicited e-mail from other subscribers or parties. Mega Metropol Children´s Guidelines:
No section of Mega Metropol is directed at children 12 and under. We collect no personally identifiable information from visitors known to be children.
Mega Metropol Opting-Out, Corrections and Cancellations:
Upon request, Mega Metropol will a) Remove you and your personal information, from our database, thereby canceling your registration;
b) Correct personal information that you state is erroneous; or
